Lubeca selects the fine cocoa beans from selected cooperatives and actively supports farmers with their ecologically sustainable cultivation. The cocoa trees are cultivated at an altitude of 700 to 1100 m in the Cusco region beneath the heights of Machu Picchu. Some cacao specialists believe the Criollo trees produce the aromatically richest cacaos in the world.
