Papua New Guinea grows some of the most flavorful cocoa beans in the world. The cocoa beans that go into this Cacao Barry couverture are primarily Forastero, a bean most likely native to the Amazon basin. Today Forastero accounts for 80% of the world’s cocoa supply. This Papua Guinea single origin milk couverture chocolate, is characterized by a very creamy texture that discloses notes of hazelnuts, fruit and a hint of caramel.
